A sitemap is a file where you provide information about the pages, videos, and other files on your site, and the relationships between them. Search engines like Google read this file to crawl your site more efficiently.
A sitemap tells Google which pages and files you think are important in your site, and also provides valuable information about these files.
1) Navigate to Extensions > Feeds > Google Sitemap and click on the edit icon.
2) After clicking on the edit icon, enter the relevant details:
(i) Status: to be kept enabled
(ii) Data Feed url: example url - https://kartify.anscommerce.com/index.php?route=extension/feed/google_sitemap (auto saved)
(iii) Enter category URLs: enter comma separated urls to add on category sitemap xml
(iv) Enter information urls: enter comma separated urls to add on information sitemap xml
(v) Exclude information pages from sitemap - comma separated ids: exclude information pages from sitemap - comma separated ids
(vi) Exclude categories from sitemap - comma separated ids: exclude categories from sitemap - comma separated ids
Click on save icon to save the changes.
