Google Base is an online database that allows users to upload content to Google. Users are free to add any type of content they wish to search through Google Base. People can upload links to websites, images, text, software, music or videos.
As of 2010, the product has been downgraded to Google Merchant Centre. Hence, it will be supported via the GMC Feed.
1) Navigate to Extensions > Feeds > Google Base and click on the edit icon.
2) Click on the “+” icon to add a Google category manually. The latest Google Category list can be exported by clicking on the click here link at the top. The categories can then be imported by using the green button at the top right.
Status has to be enabled. Click on the save icon in the top right corner to save the changes.
3) Below attached screenshot displays some already created Category on the basis of the Google Category.
